Sibylle Philipsen completed her first degree in business administration (FH) at AKAD University while working at a regional bank.

From 2003 to 2017, she continued her career at what is now the Genossenschaftsverband – Verband der Regionen (Cooperative Association – Association of Regions).

In 2010, she successfully passed her professional examination to become a certified public accountant.

From 2011 onwards, she was responsible for annual financial statements (HGB) and IT systems as an auditor. Her focus was on auditing regional banks and service companies.

In addition, she gained experience with initial audits, audits in accordance with IDW PS 951 and IT-related special audits. She also led a project she initiated to support banks with IT migration.

From 2018 to 2023, Sibylle Philipsen served on the management board of one of the regional banks. She was also chair of the board of a service company.

From 2023 to 2025, Sibylle Philipsen studied sustainability management (MBA) and supports companies in implementing sustainability reports.

As managing partner at Finexa, her focus is on consulting and auditing in the areas of sustainability reporting and the use of artificial intelligence. She also plays a leading role in coordinating C-level support.
